Fraud Alert
Members have reported phone calls and text messages from fraudsters pretending to be Michigan Educational Credit Union (MECU). In some cases, the fraudsters are spoofing MECU’s phone number so it appears the call is coming from us.
MECU will never ask for your online banking password, full card number, or one-time passcode (OTP). If you receive a call or text requesting this information, hang up immediately and contact MECU directly at 734-455-9200.
ATM Card Extension Notice
Due to delays in issuing replacement debit cards, the usability of existing ATM cards has been extended until the end of April. Any ATM cards expiring in March will have their replacement debit card delivery expedited.
